Description

Line of Authority:

  • Reports directly to Global VP/GM of Personal Care in Wayne, NJ and indirectly to SVP EMEA
  • Location: Ideally in Paris, France but location open based on candidate as long as individual is close to an International Airport
  • Direct reports include EMEA, two NBDs, four key account managers (L'Oreal, BDF, Unilever/Culver)
  • Indirect reports include Area Directors in EMEA

Collaborative Accountability:

  • Technical service network to drive Technical Service Requests (TSR's)

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Development and execution of tactical sales plans by account and market segment in order to aggressively accelerate sales of Personal Care products in EMEA
    • Build strong direct relationships vertically and cross functionally at all global accounts in order to improve relationships and increase revenue
    • Protect existing business and grow mid tier accounts in the region through the regional organization
  • Optimize profitability in the region with a focus on the sales function
    • Develop and execute pricing tactics to optimize revenue and profitability
    • Develop large, advanced technical service projects with global accounts and drive them aggressively through the internal support process
    • Assess P&L and identify concerns and tactics to improve by segment, account and product with a focus on the sales function
  • Increase forecasting accuracy from bottoms up approach and in conjunction with global financial function
  • Develop and execute budget and short/long term growth plans
  • Develop regional sales team to functional excellence and new level of effectivity
  • General pricing and contract management
  • Strategic pricing for the Personal Care Business of EMEA

 

  • 3-5 years large key account management experience
  • 10-15 years sales experience, progressive
  • Experience selling across Europe, Germany, UK and France (France and Germany 80%)
  • Effective people manager; able to be effective in a matrix organization
  • P&L responsibility for key accounts and/or region(s)

 

Language Requirements: English required; French and/or German highly desired
