CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI, has an opening in Cleveland, OH for a Central Contract Specialist (CSS). This role supports a multi-year business process services contract CGI has with a local housing authority that is aligned with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Accordingly, the CCS will manage a portfolio of assisted housing properties and be responsible for carrying out core tasks, which includes the following: assisting in the preparation of budgets and the processing of rental adjustments; reviewing, approving, processing and paying landlord vouchers in an accurate and timely manner; verifying accuracy of monthly payments to landlords and renewing expired contracts. To qualify for this position, candidates must have strong analytical skills; a solid foundation in basic accounting principles; proficiency using MS Office; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree, knowledge of HUD project-based regulations and experience in claims processing or case management.
