Primary Characteristics:
The Sr. Web Developer is responsible for designing, programming, evaluating, recommending, planning, coordinating and maintaining software applications and solutions related to Web and Marketing technologies to improve and automate business processes thereby creating strategic advantage for EverBank.

Essential Functions:
* Works with Web Development and Marketing teams in the design, development and implementation of the company's web sites.
* Works with management to evaluate the needs of the end users and develops plans to address and implement technical business solutions.
* Determines Marketing division technology requirements and ensures those requirements are met.
* Ensures successful integration and implementation of Third Party vendor applications for Marketing.
* Ensures compliance with all software and infrastructure standards within Technology Services.
* Provides requirements and business process analysis.
* Works with management to develop strategy and architecture for Web software solutions.
* Codes and implements rich web-based and database driven solutions to meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements):
* Advanced level expertise using most of the following: C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services.
* Advanced level expertise using cross-platform, browser compliant (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
* Experience in RIA and other Web 2.0 technologies using Adobe Air/Flex, Silverlight etc.
* Advanced level expertise using SQL Server and Oracle database platforms.
* Advanced level expertise using Microsoft Visual Studio and IIS.
* Solid understanding of version control, issue tracking, release management, and automated build tools.
* Knowledge of Adobe Flash and ActionScript development
* Ability to exercise independent judgment in order to manage varied complex projects from inception through completion.
* Strong knowledge of OOD, design patterns, and software architecture.
* Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks.
* Ability to communicate and assess issues and escalate problems.
* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at one time while maintaining deadlines.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial work environment.
* Excellent communication skills with outstanding writing and presentation abilities.
* Ability to create technical documentation to describe implementation of business specs.
* Ability to work with short development/release cycles.
* Ability to work to a plan with nimbleness to adopt to changing conditions and direction

Training and Experience:
* 5-8 years in the Information Technology field, preferably in application development.
* 5+ years of web development experience.
* BS Degree in Information Technology field required or equivalent experience.
* Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
