Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Manufacturing Equipment Technician
SUMMARY OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electronic/electrical/Mechanical/PLC design, modification, troubleshooting, and repair on facilities and production equipment. This position requires strong electromechanical, problem solving and customer service skills. Experience with TPM is a plus.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in electrical/electronic/mechanical repair, installation, modification, and troubleshooting to the component level on production machinery
- Advanced PLC hardware/software repair, installation, modification, and troubleshooting; PC computer hardware & software systems support for production processes
- Experienced using a PC based system in a network environment. Working knowledge of Windows O.S., Word, & Excel. Able to create/modify documents & spreadsheets using advanced program functions
- Must have previous experience in usage of both mechanical & electronic CAD software. Creating, editing, & viewing drawings/schematics
- Ability to develop & document maintenance procedures for production machinery
- Strong leadership/organizational skills and attention to detail; Self-motivated able to sustain high performance standards in unstructured/ unsupervised situations
- 5+ years experience practicing listed skills in a manufacturing environment
- Associates Degree in Industrial Electronics or equivalent
- Ability to lift and hold up to 60 pounds
- Flexibility to work any shift on a daily basis as required to support production
