The ADI Contracts Manager is accountable for the establishment, implementation, and compliance with contract policies and procedures required to meet Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other applicable flowdown requirements under Government and/or federally funded OEM Prime contracts. Responsibilities include managing all contractual and associated activities encompassing the entire range of contract formation, negotiation and administrative processes in accordance with ADI corporate directives and customer contracts.Position requirements include:
  • Manage ADI Contracts Department activities to ensure contract deliverables are submitted on schedule and in compliance contract requirements and corporate policy;
  • Review complex solicitations and prepare specialized responses to requests for proposals, bids and contract modifications;
  • Provide training and mentoring to department subordinates to enable assumption of more complex contract responsibilities;
  • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with FAR requirements, appropriate laws and corporate policy;
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead proposal negotiations;
  • Evaluate new law, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on corporate goals and objectives;
  • Provide contractual guidance and leadership to cross-functional Corporate Management/Project team members;
  • Evaluate programmatic business cases and advise management of the financial and analytical issues/risks and attendant profit/ loss implications. Other: This position is being posted at a range of job grades (18-20). Job grade will be dependent on education and experience level the incumbent has attained. Applicant must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident. Employment is dependent on obtaining Secret security clearance from the Defense Security Service.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelors Degree
    • 10 years Government contracting experienceExpert knowledge of FAR requirements
    • Experience with ITAR regulations
    • Familiar with Intellectual Property and Government Patent rights, Teaming Agreements and Non-disclosure Agreements
    Skills
    • Strong cross-functional (accounting, legal, operations) leadership, negotiation and communication skills
    • Leadership ability
    • Self-starter
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Advanced degree preferred (J.D. preferably) and/or
    • Professional Contracts Manager Certification
    • Proven hands-on ability as well as management skills
