Description
A global leader in the instrument design and detection systems for the Water Quality industry is looking to add to their technical support team. You will be working as a Technical Advisor I and providing support to both internal and external customers on select items in their water quality product line. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity thru Kelly Scientific Resources, salary range: $40-45K annually.
As a Technical Advisor I, you will address incoming technical questions from customers over the phone, provide efficient and effective technical trouble shooting support on products, relay product information from customers back to the company so the company can continuously improve the products and document customer feedback.
Individuals that are successful in this dynamic work environment have demonstrated active listening skills and are comfortable spending their entire day on the phone. Knowing how you like to be treated when you make a call to technical support, you will be able to provide support to your customers in such a manner that displays superior customer empathy, tact and diplomacy.

Requirements: -BS or AS in a technical field or equivalent. -1-2 years of experience in: instrumentation knowledge, customer service or field service. -Computer skills (Microsoft Office, graphics, etc.) -Second language is a plus. Ability to understand AND communicate instrumentation and measurement theory of operation, setup, configuration, calibration and trouble shooting.
Compensation: Pay range is $40-45K annually and based upon experience. A competitive benefit package including medical, dental, 401K, and paid vacation will be provided.
