Canon U.S.A. Inc, US headquarters based in Lake Success, NY has an exciting opportunity as a Marketing Programs Specialist on our Cross-Products Marketing team.  The Marketing Programs Specialist develops specific marketing plans and activities for product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.

 

In this role you will be supporting our internal Field Sales teams and Authorized Dealers by; creating marketing tools such as collateral and/or flyers, conducting surveys and contests for our sales force, creating and organizing a monthly newsletter, and other related activities. You will also be involved with compliance marketing activities to ensure the sales force can provide information about Canon's environmental, security, and accessibility initiatives. Additional administrative responsibilities will include the coordination of customer briefings as well as drafting letters and other communication. This role may involve travel to customer or dealer locations, Trade Shows and other industry events.

 The position requires a Bachelors degree in business administration or marketing, and a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in a product marketing area. Experience with compliance marketing (marketing our devices environmental, accessability and security features) highly preferred.  The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills as they will interact with various departments internally as well as our sales force and authorized dealers. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel is essential to this role. Previous experience utilizing Adobe Photoshop preferred.
