Description Volt has teamed up with a GREAT company in the Topeka area who is looking for a Sr. DBA with a MINIMUM of 9 years of experience to join their winning team!!

Role:

  • Provide senior level expert technical assistance and guidance to the company in the areas of:

    1. Data Management
    2. Data Design
    2. Data organization

  • Participate in administration of data resources.

  • Provide training/guidance and training to more junior database administrators as needed.
    • Requirements Knowledge and Skills that are required of this position:

  • Candidate MUST have a bachelors degree

  • MINIMUM of nine years previous experience as a database administrator with either MS SQL and/or Oracle

  • Experience with disaster recover, multiple servers and mission critical applications.

  • Advanced knowledge of SSIS, with experience writing stored procedures and with SQL/Oracle tuning.

  • Understanding of system and database design concepts.
  • Experience with data warehousing administration.

  • Ability to trouble-shoot problems by research when needed.

  • Have an advanced understanding of access, security, database concepts, and administration techniques.
