  • ~CB~ Position Summary: Manages and supports all pharmacy information systems and software applications in the Pharmacy department.  Responsible for training users to the various applications, for maintaining annual competencies, and for specific user training to customizations and upgrade applications.  Requires strong analytical skills in gathering information, defining work problems, and designing a system of procedures to resolve problems.  Responsible for providing professional consultative oversight to the testing, maintenance, upgrade, evaluation, and implementation of all pharmacy software systems and applications.  Requires strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and creativity skills in providing necessary support of complex medication software systems.  Must be an independent worker.        Recruitment Requirements:  Registered Pharmacist with advanced training or work experience with Pharmacy Information Systems, including Siemens, Pyxis, and Barcoding software systems.  Proficient in word processing, database applications, and spreadsheet applications.  Strong technical and analytical skills, interpersonal skills, organizational, and creativity skills are required.  Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, problem solve, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
