Mechanical Engineer

A growing software solutions company is seeking an Implementation Engineer for its Eastern Massachusetts location. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Educate customer on model capabilities and data requirements
• Deliver the companies cost management platform to a customer
• Understand a customer's design and manufacturing environment
• Gather factory and accounting data required to configure solution and build customer virtual production environments (VPE's)
• Configure and customize the solution to support the companies environment and help to drive the system's adoption
• Help during the sales process in the delivery of the company strategic value assessments
• Train and provide support to users and administrators on the use of company product
• Develop a maintenance plan with customer to ensure data and solution is kept current
• Help customer measure benefits and confirm Return On Investment (ROI)

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from a prestigious college or university ( A Master's degree is preferred, but not required)
• A minimum of 2 years experience in design engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, cost modeling, or consulting
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience
• Previous work experience at a thriving start up company
• Ability to work with individuals and teams to extract the required data to drive a project's success
• Excellent communication, organizational, facilitation, multitasking, and presentation skills
• Ability to start on the ground floor, work with customers, and refine companies implementation approach and tools
• 25% to 40% travel may be required
• Managerial or cost accounting experience is a plus
