We are searching for a dedicated Sr. Customer Sales Manager to join our management team. 

 

As SR. CUSTOMER SALES MANAGER, you are the driving force in generating revenue as you manage the inside sales and service activities of the counter sales associates and ensure our optional products are effectively presented to each customer.  You will train, mentor and coach managers and sales associates in overall sales effectiveness. 

 

Ideal candidates are experienced in identifying training needs of individuals and implementing appropriate courses of action to achieve effective results.  This individual is results driven, a motivator and coach, with expert knowledge of Service and Sales Programs. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with management in identifying counter sales and service effectiveness training opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales effectiveness training on current sales methods and techniques
  • Work with management in identifying products and/or opportunities for generating revenues
  • Assist with operational functions to ensure peak revenue and service performance

 

Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks:

 

  • Assess daily product availability based on market segment
  • Communicate daily sales opportunities to front line
  • Assess operational strategies to achieve peak performance
  • Create scheduling for peak efficiency
  • Review numbers and apply necessary strategies to hit business goals
  • Monitor “live” performance and strategize throughout the day
  • Complete all reports related to mapping sales performance
  • Follow-up on front-line staffing goals and daily tracking
  • Complete formal and verbal coaching for sales agents
  • Work directly with the local Area Manager and Division Revenue Management to execute action plan

Qualifications:

  

  • College degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required
  • Operational experience in the rental car, travel or hospital industry preferred
  • Proven sales leadership
  • Knowledge of counter sales and performance leadership
  • Experience in 1) sales training, 2) customer service training, and 3) leadership training and development
  • Experience in executing sales presentations
  • Experience in leading and monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates positive attitude, belief in our products and services
  • Ability to motivate groups of people with both individual and classroom settings
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast paced customer and team oriented environment
  • Strong creativity and analytical skills
  • Persuasive and motivational communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
  • Time management skills
