Description Provide quality pharmaceutical care to the patients. Supervises and directs the
daily pharmacy work load. Plans, directs, and reviews the work assignments and
special projects for each employee. Monitors the quality assurance programs of
the pharmacy. Liaison with other departments of the Medical Center. Insure the
Pharmacy is preparing medications according to regulations, quality standards
and patient needs. Monitors the budgeting impact of the department.

This is a full time, 80 hour bi-weekly supervisory position in our Edgewood
location.
Supervisor will need to make themselves available for vacancy coverage for all
shifts.
Supervisor will need to make themselves available for vacancy coverage on
weekends.
Requirements MINIMUM
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Licensure:
a) Graduated from an accredited college of pharmacy in the State of Kentucky.
b) Ky state pharmacist license
c) Valid pharmacist license renewal registration
certificate

Specialized Knowledge:
Business Management
Personnel Management

Kind and Length of Experience:
five years practical experience
hospital experience

DESIRABLE
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Registered as a preceptor of pharmacy in the State of Kentucky.

Kind and Length of Experience:
previous management experience of two years
