Description Truck Driving is an exciting career for anyone who loves to drive long distances! If you have your high school diploma, you can begin training to be a truck driver today.

The average annual salary for truck driving is $45,000. However, the type of trucking you do will alter this amount greatly. Those working as team truck drivers can earn a whopping average annual salary of $183,000, while recent graduates with no training earn about $22,000.

There are a lot of different types of trucking careers ranging from long-distance to local, from solo driving to team driving. It all depends on what you enjoy doing the most.

Training to become a truck driver does not take long. All it entails is a driver-training course to help you receive your commercial driver’s license, or CDL, and teach you other valuable information.
