Description Fortune 500 company in downtown San Francisco has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant/ Accounting Analyst on a long term temp or possible temporary to permanent basis.

We are looking for a self-starter who has large company experience to be responsible for monthly forecasting, budgeting, and month end close.
  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Variance analysis (budget and forecast)
  • Work heavily with complex contracts
  • Prepare journal entries, complex reconciliations, maintain general ledger
  • Provide record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions
  • Prepare profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
    • Requirements Qualified candidates will only be considered with the following prior experience:

  • Must have a 4-year degree in accounting
  • 4-6 years senior accountant experience
  • Complex account reconciliation experience: including multi-entity and consolidations
  • Large company experience
  • Income recognition experience
  • Advanced Excel skills: including pivot tables
  • Access experience
