Senior Accountant

Description Classification: Interim/Project

Compensation: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour

Our client has a contract role available for a Senior Accountant. Key duties of the Senior Accountant include preparation and review of all tax filings and the research of certain tax issues. The Senior Accountant will administer grant billings and handle associated compliance reporting to third parties. The Senior Accountant will also complete bank account reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA license preferred. 5+ years experience in with non-profit tax filings and government grants desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Office essential. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Demonstrated project management skills and high attention to detail necessary.
