Data Analyst-TS/SCI required

Description Job Responsibilities:
Experience with scripting languages Perl and awk required, and experience with Pathfinder system, database structure & Memex preferred. Will provide data Load Support and in support of new data load requirements, the individual shall:

Follow the steps in the Initial Data Load Development Checklist.

Follow the steps in the Final Data Load Development Checklist.

Ingest new data sources as directed by the customer.

For each data load, provide a data folder for the completed data load; data load scripts; data maps; a sample data load file; the completed Data Load Change Log that includes date, time and description of work performed; and the completed Data Load Checklists.

Data Maintenance Support. As part of ongoing data maintenance supportl:

Any data tasks that cannot be handled by the Tier I and II System Administrators.

Update existing data maps.

Update existing fielding schemas.

Consolidate multiple databases.

Update web crawl and database load scripts.

Create activity log for each repair/maintenance task with the following:

Description of the problem.

Actions taken to repair/maintain data feed.

Append logs to data folders.

Required Education:
Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Required Work Experience:
Requires 8-10 years experience preferably with Pathfinder Database, Memex, and Unix a plus. IT industry certification required.
