Description Position Summary : PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

CarePlus Pharmacy, formerly PharmaCare Specialty Pharmacy, a division of CVS/Caremark, is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician for our location in Washington, D.C. Hours are Monday through Fridays 8-7. Closed weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include filling pharmacy orders, assisting in the processing and shipping of prescriptions and telephoning patients for refills requests. Primary responsibilities will include coordinating patient and provider contacts as well as PA assistance and COB.
Requirements Qualifications : 2 years pharmacy tech experience; National Certification preferred.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent, National certification as a pharmacy technician preferred.

Experience : 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician filling prescriptions
