Journeyman Machine Repair

Description Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Machine Repairman on a Contract opportunity with a Greater Grand Rapids client.



In this position candidates will be troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining high tonnage mechanical presses for multiple facilities. Candidate must be of Journeyman status and be able and willing to work an off shift - 12:30pm-10:00pm.





JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Journeyman Machine Repair Certification

Mechanical press troubleshooting and repair

Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
200, 250, and/or 600 ton press experience

Perform inspections on machines
Order parts for machine repairs and rebuilds
Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
Rebuild clutches and clutch brakes

Repair oil and lubrication systems

Level rams and presses

Miscellaneous
Must have own tools
Ability to work independently as well as with other repairmen

Good driving record

Detail oriented
