Description The Queens Medical Center is a 500 bed teaching facility located in downtown Honolulu. This hospital has attained Magnet Status in 2009. This position will support the inpatient (acute and Progessive Care Unit) and outpatient areas. Able to work well with a multidisciplinary team. Position Summary:

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Basic Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree

Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:

None

Basic Functional Experience Required:

2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.Position Posting Title: Clinical Dietitian 2
