Performs tasks within the pharmacy in direct support of the ongoing duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist. Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and/or dispensing of a final dosage form for administration to a patient and are directly supervised by a pharmacist. Provides customer service by answering phone request and triages calls to the appropriate person if they cannot answer the requested information. Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
Requirements This position requires High school diploma or GED, at least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, and National certification from CPHT Board. Additional Information: This position at The Vanderbilt Clinic Outpatient Pharmacy is full-time-40 hours per week. Day Shift: 8 hr shift between the hours of 7:30a and 6:00p M-F with rotating Saturdays 8:30a-2:30pSalary Range: $10.97-$15.18 an hour. Background screens will be performed and must be approved prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information. In accordance with that law and Vanderbilt policy, smoking is prohibited in all enclosed areas on Vanderbilt property.
