Kelly Services is currently in need of a PLASTICS PROCESSING TECHNICIAN interested in working in the automotive industry.
POSITION SUMMARY Provides hands on support of injection molding processes for continuous daily production. Ensures compliance with set proceedurs and parameters of the injection molding process. Completes activities which achieve continuous improvement of injection molding processes. Works with process engineering lead to plan and modify process activities to support customer requirements. Implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials. Responsible to ensure continuous operations meet production goals. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Responsible for daily set-up and monitoring of the parameters on production injection molding equipment. 2. Responsible for ensuring daily production key measure (e.g. quality, efficiency, production quantities, scrap, etc.) for injection molding operations are met. 3. Works on floor completing technical daily injection molding processing duties. 4. Supports PE in development of process parameters and process improvements. EDUCATION REQUIRED * A High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma is required. Associates Degree is preferred. * Three to five years or more experience in injection molding processing required. * Six Sigma Green or Black Belt would be a major benefit.
