Lead Recreation Assistant (Semper Fit Center) - RFT
$38,324 per annum (includes 25% Cost of Living Allowance)

 

Kaneohe Bay?s Semper Fit Center is seeking an individual to serve as a Shift Leader, responsible for carrying out recreation operations of the Main Fitness Center and satellite facilities and maintaining security of facilities. Leads staff in scheduling work assignments, training subordinates, and overall daily operations to ensure efficient use of the center. Will personally perform fitness assessments and develop individual and group training programs.

Requires three years of responsible experience demonstrating knowledge of exercise physiology involving physical training programs, including weight training, cardiovascular conditioning, and individualized and group program development. Must have current personal trainer certification from one of the following approved national organizations: American College of Sports medicine (ASCM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research or National Strength and Condition Association. Incumbents must also posses a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Training in Basic First Aid and certification is required, but may be obtained after employment.
