Senior IT Auditor

Description Volt Professional Search is currently searching for a Senior IT Auditor for our own Corporate office based in the city of Orange, CA. Volt Information Sciences, Inc. is a leading provider of global infrastructure solutions in technology, information services and staffing acquisition for its Fortune 100 customer base. We are a publicly traded, 2.5 Billion dollar firm with various business units and divisions throughout the US, Europe and Asia.

The Senior IT Auditor is responsible for conducting IT audit reviews to evaluate compliance with policies and the adequacy of controls and procedures. IT Audit projects will include: system application access security reviews, pre-implementation system reviews, general control reviews and data center audits. Job functions include preparation of audit work papers which document work performed, audit findings and recommendations for improvements. The Senior IT Auditor will also be responsible for performing testing procedures to meet SOX 404 requirements in addition to working closely with financial and operational auditors. The position requires approximately 30% travel on a national and international level.

Requirements Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years IT Audit experience, preferably within a Big 4 public accounting firm or a large ($1billion+) public company. Comprehensive knowledge of business processes, IT networks, data centers, IT application information processing security and control concepts is required. Candidates with a CISA, CIA or CPA are strongly desired. Familiarity with audits of Peoplesoft or other ERP systems is a must, as well as experience using ACL data analysis tool. A Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Accounting or related discipline is also required.
