Overview:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Customer Reach Director will have four major segments to manage:
- 1. Distribution Channel
- 2. Geographical direct sales
- 3. Mass distribution marketing
- 4. Inside sales and customer service
The purpose of this position is to transform a 20 year old business model to reach more customers, increase the content to each customer, impel the distribution channel to increase sales and share at a lower cost, and to use the internet to compliment each of these tasks.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
DUTIES:
- The Americas region has 40% of its revenue sold through the distribution channel. Establish and manage an improved business model for the channel that integrates our key distributors as an extension of our business.
- Over 100 sales engineers manage our 2nd and 3rd tier customers who buy through various channels. The objectives of this sales team is to generate new program designs, gain print position on new customer programs, grow competitive share, and emphasize selling new products. Manage the behaviors and metrics of this team.
- Develop and execute a marketing plan to reach more customers, and manage the e-business.
- An organization of 200 people manages all customer transactions, Product Information Center, and Return Material. Manage processes to improve customer service and increase productivity.
- Participate in annual strategic planning cycles
- Visit customers as needed to create new revenue and enhance relationships
- Develop new talent for internal promotion
- Other duties as needed
