Pharmacist - Henry Ford Pharmacy Advantage, SouthfieldCONTINGENT, WEEKENDS18 hours per week:  8:00 am - 5:00 pmResponsible for the day-to-day comprehensive, customer-oriented pharmacy services provided on the shift.  Works under the general supervision of the Pharmacy Coordinator.  The Pharmacist must be able to exercise sound management and judgement in making appropriate decisions in the absence of their Coordinator.  Assists the Coordinators in identifying problems, which exist in his/her assigned are of practice, and cooperates in the resolution of these problems.  Participates in training pharmacy interns and externs in their service area.REQUIREMENTS:-  Licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of MI-  Effective oral and written communication skills, knowledge of managed care and progressive pharmacy practice, and the ability to work effectively with others.-  Computer literacy and knowledge of pharmacy computer order entry.-  Must possess an understanding of the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of disease states and have the application skills needed to permit proper integration of these in monitoring drug therapy.~cb~Equal Employment OpportunityHenry Ford Health System is committed to the hiring, advancement and fair treatment of all individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, weight/height, marital status, familial status, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
