Construction Field Service Managers use innovative and customer-oriented service approaches to grow dealer service capability to ensure best in class service, ensure product uptime and customer satisfaction and protect and grow market share. This position provides service to Case, New Holland and Kobelco dealers.


If you are an experienced construction equipment service person who wants to extend your capabilities and your results, this is the place for you. A desire to add value to customers is an absolute necessity!


The position will ideally be based from Western Colorado or Utah. 


Responsibilities include:


  • Evaluate dealer capability & develop service action plan.

  • Evaluate dealer service personnel & training needs. Initiate action plans based on results.

  • Evaluate warranty impact on dealer performance and customer satisfaction within the territory.

  • Provide dealers and customers service, product and warranty training.

  • Resolve product quality and performance issues for customers and dealers.

  • Train dealer service personnel on Case, New Holland & Kobelco product service diagnostics, repair procedures and company processes.

  • Ensure completion of factory issued campaigns (product recalls).

  • Provide timely feedback to manufacturing, marketing and engineering on dealer/customer issues experienced with all construction products.

  • Monitor dealer compliance with company warranty policy.

  • Make all policy adjustment decisions within the territory.



Requirements
 


  •         Associate or technical degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering or equivalent experience.  Note: Equivalent experience is defined as one extra year of relevant experience for each year of missing education.


  •         Five years experience working with heavy equipment, trucks or automotive..


  •         Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills required.


  •         Strong mechanical aptitude.


  •         Experience with electrical, hydraulics, and schematics.


  •         Self-starter, skilled problem solver.


  •         Must be willing to travel 75-80% of the time to visit dealers and customers.
