Description Job Classification: Contract

Purpose:
Modis is currently seeking talented and innovative technology professionals for one of our top clients located in Warren, MI. This client specializes in Engineer/Technology for the automotive products and service solutions across the US. This is a 6 month contract position with a possibility for extension after this period. This client is looking to fill this position immediately and will be interviewing as soon as qualified candidates are identified. The ideal candidate will possess very strong skills with .Net Framework, SQL Server, UML, XML and AJAX.

Skills/Experience required

• 5+ years of .NET – C#: ASP.NET software development experience
• 3+ years of XML; XSL: Schema experience
• Strong RDBMS skills (SQL Server with Reporting Services preferred, Oracle desired)
• Strong AJAX development experience
• Proven analysis and design skills
• Experience in development and management of a software product having multiple installations with customization involved for each of them.
• Collaborative team member and teamwork experience with business-related projects
• Exposure to Quality Management systems and Configuration Management of complex software products
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated verbal and written communication, such as Requests for Quote, client communications, and technical information including Service Solutions Software Engineering Process artifacts.
• Ability to communicate concerns and identify resolutions in a clear, concise manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, monitor and assess performance within deadlines, and utilize appropriate skills and resources to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Ability to work with short deadlines and high stress.
• Excellent problem solving and problem identification skills.
• Ability to professionally utilize problem resolution skills while dealing with client or team related problems and issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field required.
