Description This position is responsible for assisting the Customer & Trade Accounting, Bottler/National Accounts area with documentation, reporting, and scanning/filing, to ensure we are compliant with GAAP, SOX, and other authoritative accounting policies and procedures.


The successful candidate will be detail oriented, highly self-motivated and able to work independently. 
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting/Documentation  (5%)
  • Prepare and support the coordination and documentation of processes, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update SOX control documentation and testing.
2. General Administration  (20%)
  • Assist departments with accurately scanning & filing reimbursements
  • Assist SMA Billing process with copies, filing, and mailings of invoice.
3. Accounting (5%)
  • Prepare and coordinate the Payment proposals from Marketing Funds and TPM (PROBE SAP & MSSI SAP) in accordance with departmental, company and SOX guidelines.
4. Sales Support (60%)
  • Ensure all payments over $25,000 have the necessary backup and signatures as required by SOX and company policy.
  • Coordinate backup and compliance for all audit selections from both an internal and external perspective
  • Resolve any discrepancies directly with the responsible sales colleague for any backup or TPM promotion related issues.
  • Prepare necessary requests or corrections to field requests for vendor set-ups
  • Log, communicate and report compliance to field backup submission policy
5. Special Projects (10%)
  • Provide support throughout Customer Trade Accounting for special projects.
Requirements Education and Prerequisites:
  1. Education/Experience – Business related degree preferred and/or 1-2 years experience in Finance or Accounting.
  2. Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and SAP
  3. Communication skills, Customer service orientation
 Physical Requirements:                         
1.      Ability to carry out responsibilities of position and operate general office equipment.
