Job Description: 

As a Cost Basis Specialis you will be responsible for the maintenance of our correspondent clients' cost basis records. In addition this role will support other operational and support functions as need. To be successful in this role you will have to provide superior levels of customer service while building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications
• A four-year degree or relevant industry experience.
• Two to four years experience in a financial services institution: investment bank, broker dealer, asset management, or market data provider.
• Strong customer service and client satisfaction orientation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Excellent oral and written business communication and problem solving skills.
• Must have advanced proficiency with computers including Microsoft's Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance.
• Two or more years of experience in an operations role with a brokerage, bank, or other financial services company.
• Prior experience in an accounting or other financial role dealing with numbers.



Key Accountabilities: 

• Process requests from correspondent clients related to the gathering and maintaining of cost basis information.
• Edit, correct, maintain and make additions or corrections to the system as requested. Also, adjust positions when necessary.
• Assist in monitoring and verifying that essential department functions are completed on a timely basis and within compliance and/or departmental guidelines.
• Partner with Client Reporting to resolve complex cost basis requests within established service levels.
• Assist/backup other operational and support functions as needed.
