Nursing Manager, Med Surg Full Time Days RN

Providence Little Company of Mary, San Pedro is a 231 bed, non-profit hospital
that has served the Harbor and Greater South Bay communities for over 80 years.
We are currently seeking a Nurse Manager for our 3West Medical/Surgical unit.
3West is a 37 bed unit. The position requires a current California State RN
license with a minimum two years recent RN experience in med/surg including one
year supervisory experience. 3-5+ years supervisory/management experience
preferred. Strong knowledge base or experience in specialty area assigned.
Associates degree in nursing accepted if enrolled to complete a bachelor�s
degree in nursing within 3 years of hire. BSN or MSN preferred. Must be tactful
and proficient at conflict resolution; able to work well independently and with
a team. Judgment must include ability to make accurate, rapid and long-term
decisions under pressure. Must be able to project a positive self image. Must be
self motivated with good communications skills (oral and written). This is a
Full Time position with 24-7 unit responsibility. BLS and ACLS certifications
required. The position reports to the Director of Acute Care Services.
