Description
We are looking for a person that has a general understanding of combustion engines, powertrain knowledge and previous experience with control systems development. Previous experience from a project lead position would also be highly valued for the position.
Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities within this role would include coordination of control systems activities and deliverables from early phase of projects to launch of products to customers.
Specific responsibilities include planning, doing, checking and acting to:
Establish and follow-up control systems project plan
Coordinate and communicate Control systems activities and deliverables to PME (Project leader engineering)
Estimate the need of resources and request resources to perform the project within Control Systems subsystem.
Support internal customers with system integration technical competence
Compile and present project status reports for various stages of a project.

Requirements
Education and Experience
BS degree in Engineering with four to eight years work experience is required.
Eleven to sixteen years of equivalent work experience without a degree will also be accepted.
Preferred Education and Experience
BS or MS degree in Computer, Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Two to Five years of work experience with engine controls and/or engine performance development
Experience with engines, after treatment systems, hybrid systems or transmissions
Familiarity with On Board Diagnostic (OBD) logic and evaluations
Familiarity with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Experience with version control systems for large database structures
Experience form project lead
