The Opportunity:
The Government Contracts Pricing Analyst will be responsible for planning, managing, and producing detailed pricing and financial data in support of major competitive bid and proposal opportunities across a broad spectrum of business areas and a diverse customer base. These opportunities can be competitive or sole source and include task orders, fixed price, ID/IQ, T&M, cost-plus contracts, funding realignments, and modifications.
- Can you produce detailed cost/price proposals, including cost models/templates, formats, and pricing rationale in accordance with solicitation instructions, corporate policies, and CAS/FAR?
- Do you coordinate effectively with proposal managers, technical staff, subcontractors, and other associates to ensure that required cost data is thorough, accurate, and submitted on schedule?
- Are you known for having extreme attention to detail?
- Do you have the business acumen to understand pricing of intangible goods?
- Are you a self-starter with the discipline to work on your own?
- Can you respond to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities?
Gallup delivers measurement-based consulting and business solutions to the largest and most respected government agencies. Responsibilities of this position include: 1) responding to and developing pricing for federal proposals; 2) performing quality assurance review to ensure all proposal actions related to pricing are comprehensive, complete, accurate, and timely; 3) working with associates and subcontractors to build cost and pricing strategies; 4) developing specialized databases for pricing inputs, revisions, and justifications; 5) Preparing reports on various aspects of pricing.
Requirements
Candidates for this opportunity must have a bachelor's degree and must be proficient in Microsoft® Excel.® Experience with proposals involving research and consulting for government contracts is preferred. Knowledge/experience with FAR/DFAR is required. Candidates must have or be eligible to obtain DoD security clearance.
