Job Summary:
This position will provide baggage handling and transport services to guests.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms. Provide guests with baggage handling and transport service upon arrival and checkout. Orient guest to all hotel features and facilities upon check-in. Deliver items such as flowers, sundries, messages to guest rooms upon request. Maintain clean lobbies or entrance areas for travelers or guests. Assist in other front services areas including valet and doorman services. May include additional duties such as delivering newspapers to guest rooms, parking vehicles arriving during third shift hours and making routine checks of the valet lots. Maintain current knowledge of local area, attractions and events. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Education: High school degree or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum six months customer service experience preferred. Good communications skills required. Must be fluent in verbal and written English. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record where applicable.
