Description Electrical Instrumentation Technician Every day, Kelly Engineering Resources (KER) connects engineering professionals with opportunities to advance their careers. We currently have an opportunity as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician in Ashley, IN.
Responsibilities: - Monitors system interconnection to determine operating efficiency of electrical systems - Makes necessary electrical corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Also tests equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime - Conducts field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems - Assembles, implements, calibrates, maintains, and improves electrical instruments equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for production purposes using hand tools and measuring instruments - Coordinates manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. - Performs and documents preventative electrical maintenance assignments. - Designs, installs and/or changes layout of machines and mechanical equipment in the facility. - Inspects completed installations and observes operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
