Electrical Reliability Engineer

Description Summary of Position:

Responsible for electrical reliability engineering on the Burkville Site. The focus will be to work with the Process Availability Leaders in the units to provide programs and projects to improve asset reliability, reduce maintenance costs and foster continuous improvements. This will include optimization of PM and predictive maintenance programs, and identification and correction of long standing maintenance issues. Will require working closely with Process Availability Leaders in the different units, Maintenance Leaders, Reliability Specialists.



Accountabilities:


-Identify specific electrical programs across the site to improve reliability, which directly contributes to site stability
-Provide necessary support for maintenance troubleshooting
-Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs in each operation as needed
-Identify leading edge maintenance technology that drives area performance
-Assist in the development of maintenance personnel training procedures
-Identify, engineer and implement projects/programs that help increase productivity and ensure stability across the site

Requirements -B.S. in Electrical Engineering
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering with applicable experience as an Electrical Engineer in an industrial facility
-Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems
-Must have experience with Electrical Engineering and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high (115KV/13.8KV) voltage distribution systems and switchgear, AC/DC variable drives, plant instrumentation and controls
-Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with operation, technical, mechanical/electrical maintenance crafts people
-Familiarity with Reliability techniques, including Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance
-Familiarity with PC applications such as Word, Excel
