Description Manufacturing Engineer Job

Immediate need for a Hydraulic Engineer III with a Worldwide Manufacturing Company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hydraulic technology standardization and development, and technology competence development
  • Specify cost effective and reliable hydraulic components and systems that meet machine requirements and therefore customer requirements
  • Support Product Maintenance Team to help solve field issues
  • Support P&SM (Purchasing & Supply Management) should there be hydraulic issues with suppliers
  • Acts as a consultant to the business on topics related to hydraulics

Requirements

  • B.S.in Engineering
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of mobile equipment hydraulic components and systems
  • Strong understanding of Vehicle dynamics and physics
  • Understands how hydraulic components and systems interface with electrical components/systems and mechanical systems are used in machine
  • Deep knowledge regarding hydraulic systems in motor graders
  • Highly knowledgeable about accelerated life-testing of hydraulic elements
