APPLICATIONS ENGINEER - WOOD PRODUCTS

RESPONSIBILITIES:
����� Provide technical call support to our customer base, architects, engineers, and code officials

����� Provide seals and certifications for our products, when required by local code jurisdictions

����� Produce literature guides for the proper handling, design, and installation of our products

����� Create and maintain training materials and conduct training for customers and sales staff

����� Obtain and maintain product evaluation reports for our products to meet international,�national and regional standards

����� Maintain quality assurance manuals and define quality assurance targets for products produced at plants

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
����� B.S. or higher degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
����� Minimum of 5 years experience in the wood products industry
����� Professional Engineers�registration required
����� Ability to travel 20%

KNOWLEDGE-SKILLS-ABILITIES:

����� Familiarity with a variety of engineered wood products (I-Joist, LVL, rimboard)
����� Knowledgeable about Code and Standards for building products
����� Ability to work in a team environment
����� Communication (written/oral)
����� Demonstrated leadership capabilities
