Technical Customer Service Rep-FT
Britech is a contract manufacturer of cables, wiring harnesses, control panels and other electro mechanical assemblies. We are currently looking for a technical inside sales assistant with an engineering / technical sales background to work in the inside sales department. This is a hands-on position that will require extensive interface with all levels with in our organization.
Job Responsibilities include:
*Receive and process phone and written inquires, customer orders, quotes.
*Prepare quote packages for technical review including component pricing and bill of material. Obtain quotes for purchased items as required.
*Submit formal quotes to customer. Provide customers with pricing and delivery information based on company procedures and policies.
*Handle customer expedites and changes in sales orders including delivery methods and dates and quantity changes.
*Use a computer system to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer orders. Ensures attention to detail and quality are used while inputting information, including purchase and sales orders, and bill of materials.
*Coordinate with other departments in the handling of customer requirements to insure that accurate data is transmitted to all.
*Assist as required, in the entering of sales order into computer system.
*Process and assist in the timely purchasing of materials, expediting as required.
*Complete engineering change orders per customer revision requests including updates to bill of materials, prints and manufacturing instructions.
