Technical Accountant to assist with Accounting Procedures

Description Classification: Interim/Project

Compensation: Pay up to $77 per hour

Accounting Professional needed to research and consult on technical accounting issues related to complex transactions, updating and drafting accounting policies and informing upper management on new and emerging accounting guidance. Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is a must. Consultant must have experience with technical accounting requirements for Long-term Contracts and Software accounting.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA required
6+ years of relevant public or private accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting literature
Experience with accounting for LT Contracts and Software accounting
Experience with government accounting is preferred.
