Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Classification: Temporary-to-full-time

Compensation: Pay up to $13.75 per hour

Do you have a year of hands on experience in the healthcare field? Our client is looking for Medical Accounts Receivable Specialists to join their team on a temporary to full time basis. Will be responsible for managing AR aging over 30 days, work all open claims calling to request payment, processing denials, resubmitting claims, and filing appeals. Will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Will also be handling patient calls regarding account balances, billing and reimbursement. Will be making payment arrangements to clear up delinquent balances.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in medical accounts receivable and collections. Must have experience with EOBs and remittance advices. Must have experience with automated medical billing systems. Must have excellent communication both oral and written. Word and Excel knowledge required.
