Assistant Nurse Manager ED, Mount Holly NJ
Virtua Health System of Mount Holly, New Jersey has an exciting leadership opportunity with our Emergency Department.
We are seeking an experienced RN for our Assistant Nurse Manager position.
With more than 73,000 visits to our emergency room yearly at the largest ED of South Jersey, we are seeking a highly-motivated individual to work with our dedicated and experienced staff members who’s number one goal is patient satisfaction. Our RN’s have the ability to move patients faster through our ED under our nursing “autonomous” guidelines. Our RN’s work collaboratively with our physicians to move our patients faster and more effectively through the ED department.
Overall all job responsibilities:
§ Assists Nurse Manager in overall manager/leadership responsibilities for assigned department/unit.
§ Manages Human Resources management effectively and promotes staff development.
§ Uses all forms of communication effectively to facilitate decision-making and promote positive relations.
§ Demonstrates and promotes fiscal responsibility.
§ Ensures a high level of employee and customer satisfaction.
§ Seeks opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
§ Facilitates Performance Improvement Activities.
§ Maintains a safe environment. Demonstrates knowledge of safety-related issues and situations.
We have two shifts available:
Day or Night
Monday through Friday.
No weekends or Holidays.
Requirements:
BSN
Three years recent clinical experience.
Broad knowledge of nursing practice
Ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention
Out of the box thinker/Creative
Ability to deal with high volume and stressful situations
Excellent communicator
Team Player
Goal oriented
