This position is located at Catalyst360° in Allentown, PA.  Our Customer Contact Center supports Sales and Service Operations for AARP Health, providing premier healthcare products for people 50 years of age and older.

Requirements WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
 
Our Call Center Representatives provide assistance to AARP members who either call on our toll free line or submit written correspondence. We are looking for professionals with retail, call center, inside/outside sales, customer service, or insurance experience.  Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must be able to navigate in a Windows based environment, type 25 wpm and multi-task.
 
Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Classes begin December 2009
  • FT Shifts begin between 9:30am and 11:30am  
  • 2+  year(s) of customer service or telemarketing sales experience
  • Call center experience a plus
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication skills
  • Keyboard knowledge and ability to multi-task
  • Good interpersonal skills including teamwork and flexibility
  • Good organizational skills
  • Valid Accident & Health Insurance license a plus  
    WHAT DOES THE COMPENSATION INCLUDE?
     
    At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance.  The starting salary for this position is $12.50 per hour, plus a shift differential paid for working past 7:00 pm.  In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and more.
