Description

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking qualified Project Managers to coordinate the on-site collection, verification, analysis and compilation of various data elements on portfolio(s) of existing commercial real estate loans. Project Managers may be required to be on-site at a to-be-determined financial institution (potentially for several weeks at a time) to oversee management of due diligence teams performing the collection, verification, compilation, review, indexing, scanning, and data entry of the specific loan information and related relevant documents into a database system.

PROJECT MANAGERS - Washington, DC or Chicago, IL

This position is temporary and part time in nature and will be paid on an hourly basis based on contract assignments. Temporary employees are not eligible for Jones Lang LaSalle benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of an on-site due diligence and data collection project team, subcontractors, and resources, with a specific focus on leveraging down costs
  • Develop a specific action plan to execute the on-time completion of due diligence services in concert with the Director
  • Oversee and monitor the completion of the day-to-day responsibilities of the due diligence team(s)
  • Draft Deficiency and Discrepancy reports
  • Protect sensitive information in compliance with regulations
Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration
  • Appropriate accreditation in the candidate's respective field (CPA, JD, MBA, CFA)
  • 7 years of general project management experience or relevant management expertise dealing with multiple tasks involving similar projects
  • 3 years prior due diligence project management experience involving commercial real estate assets (and experience working with loan due diligence related documents such as servicing files, credit files, notes, title updates, valuations, inspection reports, insurance policies, bonds, and related documents)
  • 10 years of general finance, accounting, real estate, and/or banking experience Ability to analyze financial statements, valuations, and environmental reports, prepare cash flow projections, obtain and track data from servicing systems, determine compliance with applicable real estate, commercial and consumer regulatory laws, and analyze accounting data and borrower payment histories
  • Ability to travel Monday-Friday, based in Washington, DC or Chicago, IL
