DATA MANAGEMENT LEAD

Description The primary function of this position is to work with the business/functions to define IT projects to design and implement complex data architecture and data management strategies consistent with IT Strategy and the rolling 3-year capital investment plan for applications for Kellogg Company. Scope of programs/projects is generally large to very large projects/programs. Design and implement a data governance, data migration and master data management strategy that will address organizational business needs. Serve as Kellogg's senior technical expert in data architecture and data management for the company . Prepare project work plans for assigned areas of applications Validate/define project scope, objectives and dimensions . Define and Develop the technical data architecture including standardization and metadata strategic and tactical methodology to ensure adherence to technical standards and quality assurance . Provide in-depth business and technical knowledge to multiple project/programs in data management .

Requirements BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related analytical field plus 10 years of the below experience OR HS Diploma/GED plus a minimum of 15 years of the below experience is required.

Thorough understanding and an implementation of Application Design, Development and Implementation data management Processes, Deliverables, and Tools. Proven ability and relevant experience in data management design and application design. Proven ability to consistently complete key deliverables on time and within budget IT and business programs and projects of all sizes. Experience with complex data architecture and data management assignments, including data analysis and design, master data management, metadata management, data warehousing, and data quality improvement is desired. Understands and articulates value propositions of various data architecture designs and implementations. Ability to design, develop and drive implementation of complex data architecture solutions. Minimum of 10 - 15 years of business process, IT application development and major IT solution implementation experience (based on above education requirements).

Preferred experience: Certification in ITIL and in minimum of at least two SAP modules or sub-systems (Business Warehouse, APO etc). Additional certifications in other key application technologies used may be desirable or required, given assignment of application focus area.
