Requirements Jr / Mid Level Business Analyst (Accounting a plus)

The position will provide business analysis leadership and guidance to support different IT initiatives and projects. The Business Analyst will be responsible for base lining existing processes and identifying key pain points which enhance the workflow, create efficiency increases, result in cost saving, and in general drive a broader awareness for improvement. The individual will be responsible for working with the business to optimize and implement new functionality for the IT Systems. Position will interact with small teams of contractors or full time development staff on projects and contribute towards project deliverables and business requirements. Position involves significant interaction with a diverse user base of back office and front office professionals.

Work with Project Manager and Business Customers to document project scope and functional requirements for IT initiatives
Document business processes to identify inefficiencies in the current workflow and develop new, more efficient, cost effective processes

Assist Project Manager with enforcement of deadlines, change management and business transformation

Actively participate on projects to partner with executives, internal teams, and consultants to optimization and enhance IT systems

Work with Quality Assurance Manager and QA Testers to define user acceptance tests and assist with the testing process

Innovation - Identify strategic capabilities and quantify the impact of deploying new processes and technologies

• Highly accomplished project management skills with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget
• Ability to successfully manage complex business issues
• Familiarity with Financial Services, Venture Capital/Private Equity industry preferred
• Experience with Agile Project Management Methodologies preferred
• Direct hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining financial systems
• Minimum 3 years providing software and business consulting services to a broad customer base
