Requirements Job Description
HealthSouth�s corporate office in Birmingham, AL is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our accounting team. The Accounting Systems and Controls Senior Analyst will work within the department and with business owners and IT to support the accounting and finance applications. Support will include troubleshooting issues that arise, communicating resolutions to business owners, creating business specifications for modifications to existing and/or new applications, testing and implementing system patches and upgrades, and preparing and conducting training on various applications. Candidates for this position should possess general business knowledge of accounting and finance areas as well as have an overall understanding of an ERP system. This position will be responsible for assisting with defining and writing Business Requirements. Project Management skills are a plus.

License or Certification:

� CPA preferred, but not required.

Education/ Training:

� Bachelor�s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science

� Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role, consulting role, or systems implementation role

� Overall understanding of ERP system and interfaces

� System Implementation experience preferred

� Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and/or Hyperion is a plus
