ERM is seeking an energetic, self-starting Senior Consultant, Air Quality Services to join our consulting firm in Exton, PA
Responsibilities:
Work in Exton office to grow air sales and develop junior staff.
As senior consultant, sell $500,000 to $1 million annually in new air consulting services.
Take leadership role in client outreach and business development initiatives, particularly in the energy, oil & gas, and chemical/pharma sectors.
Manage air quality studies and permitting projects for a variety of clients.
Serve as active member of ERM Mid-Atlantic Air Practice team.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Chemical, Civil, Industrial, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or similar field required
- M.S. in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or similar field preferred.
- P.E. registration desirable.
- Extensive experience helping clients develop strategic air permits and compliance programs. Typical experience should include:
- Developing sophisticated air emissions estimation programs
- Advising clients on the applicability of federal, state, and local air regulations and developing cost-effective compliance solutions
- Devising and implementing compliance demonstration procedures
- Major and/or complex facility licensing and agency negotiationIdeal candidate has 10 to 15 years experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term client relationships and generate meaningful sales.
- Proven ability to successfully manage projects and lead teams
- Technical competence in air quality and broad knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations.
- Understanding of dispersion modeling, air pollution control technology, emissions measurements and ambient monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
