Landmark Media Enterprises, LLC, a private company headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, has an immediate need for a Senior Tax Accountant. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Tax; the successful candidate will have responsibility for certain partnership and corporate income tax compliance activities. 

Landmark Media Enterprises is a multi-media company with interests in newspapers, classified publications, television broadcasting, cable programming, broadband services, interactive marketing and online publishing.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
§         Prepare partnership returns and related filings.
§         Prepare corporate federal and state income tax returns for certain corporations and corporate groups.
§         File extensions and make required estimated payments.
§         Respond to federal and state notices.
§         Handle federal and state income tax audits.
§         Research federal, state and international tax issues, as needed.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA required.
 3 – 5 years experience in partnership and corporate tax.
 Proficient in tax research.
 Experience with tax software, Onesource experience a plus
 Organized, detail oriented and strong team player.
