*Therapist*

Borgess Medical Center has an excellent part-time, third shift opportunity for a Therapist.

This position will be working primarily on the inpatient units, but may also be required to work in the ETC. This position is responsible for conducting therapy sessions for individuals, groups and families. In addition, this position diagnoses emotional and mental disorders as well as consults with other treatment team members, monitors progress and revises treatment plans as necessary. Additonally, this position performs Emergency Room assessments, makes referrals, facilitates admissions to Behavioral Medicine Service program and responds to telephone referral inquires. (If a limited license psychologist, administers and interprets psychological test to diagnose disorders).

• Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work, and successful completion of clinical internship
• Current Limited Licensure as a Psychologist (LLP) in Michigan, or registration as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in Michigan.
• Approximately one to two years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain full understanding of psychotherapeutic techniques and procedures, treatment modalities and psycho-medico terminology.
• Geriatric experience preferred.
• Recent experience in needed specialized area such as Child/Family, Adult/Gero,psychological testing, etc.
