Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be a self driving individual with a passion for excellence in Safety, Manufacturing, and Customer Focus. Specific area of responsibility will be in the Crossett Paper Recovery/Power & Steam departments. Primary responsibilities will focus around Safety, Production, Housekeeping, Quality, and Cost. Some specific areas of responsibility will be to:
�������� Develop, drive, and sustain a positive safety culture
�������� Understand and utilize the MBM Guiding Principles and Decision Making Framework
�������� Ensure that quality expectations are followed and met on a daily basis
�������� Track continuous improvement opportunities where performance issues are apparent and provide leadership/action plans for gap closure
�������� Ensure strict adherence to plant EHS & housekeeping efforts
�������� Ensure work requests are created for needed repairs
Ideal candidate must have the ability to plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results on daily basis.

Education:
� High School Diploma
� 4 year college degree preferred

Desired Qualifications:
� Available to work shift work and overtime as needed
� 5+ yrs of experience in Recovery/Power & Steam/Boiler Operations
� 5+ yrs direct supervision experience

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
� Strong problem solving / root cause analysis skills
� Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to motivate teams to exceed expectations.
� Strong communication, planning and organization skills.
� Strong sense of urgency and accountability
�� Demonstrated ability to quickly become proficient in use of other manufacturing software packages (i.e.� Indus Passport, Excel, Word etc)
Competencies:
� Ability to immediately step into leadership role and perform at exceptional level
� Desire to advance in responsibility in manufacturing arena
